Roald Dahl’s Matilda
played to sold-out audiences at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Courtyard Theatre in
Stratford-upon Avon for twelve weeks from November 2010 to January
2011.
Dahl’s magical story about a girl with extraordinary
powers has been a favourite novel for millions of people across
the world since it was published in 1988. Book by Dennis Kelly,
Music and Lyrics by Tim Minchin and Directed by Matthew Warchus.
Matilda, The Musical is recommended for a general audience.
As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, the show is
suitable for ages 6 and up. All persons entering the theatre,
regardless of age, must have a ticket.
